all I want for Christmas is: Peace

This year I haven't been feeling the Christmas spirit at all.
The turmoil and pain, death and disaster, cruelty and suffering faced by so many around the globe and close to home had really damped my hopes and aspirations. Until today when I went to a Christmas program put on by a church's children's department.
I was reminded that Christmas is not about Santa Clause or rain-deers or gift giving and receiving, it is about the birth of Jesus. And although the world seems so frightening at times Jesus came down into this dark, cold and sin-filled earth to not only save us but mend our weary and broken hearts. This holiday season, I wish you and your loved ones joy, love and above all else a peace that the world cannot gave or take away.

 HAPPY HOLIDAYS
MUCH LOVE
xoxo

  8. Season's Greetings! I see we are wishing for the same thing:-) Here is my favourite Christmas quote......"It came without ribbons! It came without tags! It came without packages, boxes or bags!"... Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before! "Maybe Christmas," he thought, "doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas... perhaps... means a little bit more!" ~Dr. Seuss, How the Grinch Stole Christmas!
